EVENTS

For over ten years, the compassionate community of Sprouts Farmers Market team members and their generous vendors have made it possible for Conner's Cause to provide assistance to many more families through the Annual Sprouts Charity Golf Tournament for Conner's Cause for Children. This event on August 9, 2019 at the Riverwalk Golf Club surpassed the previous year and ensures that we can expand the range of assistance that we provide to our very special families. We are deeply grateful to our good friends at Sprouts and the Sprouts Community Foundation and look forward to continuing our partnership for many years. We would also like to express our gratitude to all the vendors who participated , especially these vendor sponsors:

Don & Sons, Alkaline 88, General Mills, Harvest Meats, Hickman's, KeHe, Melissa's Specialty Produce, Milton's Baking, Nature's Way, Nutrawise YouTheory, Oppy, Danone, Jonny Pops, Oakridge Winery

CANCELLED!

Due to ongoing COVID 19 restrictions regarding events, travel concerns and safety, we have decided to cancel our September 14, 2020 Golf Classic at the Shadowridge Golf Club. We have tentatively rescheduled our event for September 2021.

Conner's Cause & COVID19

The COVID19 pandemic creates additional stress and economic hardships for families of Conner's Cause, whose medically fragile children are particularly vulnerable to any and all viruses.

Moreover, the unprecedented disruptions caused by COVID19 creates additional economic hardships for our families who struggle to make ends meet in normal times.

Few of our families have the resources to stock up on groceries and supplies and many of them have already lost employment as a result of COVID19.
Each day of this emergency brings urgent requests for assistance from families running out of groceries, gas and care supplies.

As we have for the past twenty-five years, Conner's Cause will continue to ease the burden for our families, but we will need some extra help to meet their increased needs for the duration of this emergency.
We know that many of our friends and donors have also been impacted by this pandemic, however we are asking you to give whatever you can to help us continue to help our families who need your support now more than ever.

COVID19 COMMUNITY RESOURCES

MEET CONNER'S CAUSE FAMILIES:

Meet  Lohgan...

Emilee is the single mother of two month old Baby Lohgan, sisters Addah and Deliyah and big brother Gahvyn. Lohgan spent several weeks in the neonatal intensive care unit right after his birth because of serious congenital heart defects.

Meet Cylus...

Cylus was born with bilary atresia,  a rare disease of the liver and bile ducts that affects only infants. He was hospitalized shortly after birth for the first of many surgeries and procedures. At some point, he will probably need a liver transplant.

Meet Faith ...

Four year old Faith was born at 32 weeks with gastroschisis, a rare birth defect in which a baby’s intestines and other organs are on the outside of the body at birth.  When Faith was born the doctors had to cut off nearly all of Faith’s intestines. Now, Faith is on total parenteral nutrition (TPN) to give her body what it needs to keep Faith alive.
